COACHING CLINICS
OMHA will be hosting the following coaching clinics: OMHA - Coaching Clinics
Coach 1 - Intro to Coaching (required to Head Coach Novice & Initiation) Sept 9th from 9:00am-1:15pm at Centennial Arena. There will be a 2 hr classroom followed by an on ice component.
Checking Skills (required to Head all levels Atom - Midget) Sept 10th from 1:30 - 5:15 at Centennial Arena. There will be a 2 hr classroom followed by an on ice component. (there is also one on Sept 7th in Black Diamond)
Coach 2 - Coach Level (required to Head Coach Atom, Atom Female, PW, PW Female, Bantam, Bantam Female, Midget, Midget Female) Oct 7th from 12:30 - 4:00 at Murray Arena. There will be a 2 hr classroom followed by an on ice component.
Hockey Alberta will be posting these clinics on their website for the general public shortly. Please check periodically to register. Once the course is full coaches wishing to take any of these courses will have to source out a different location.

Coaches please also make sure you have taken and completed the "Coaches Respect in Sport" (this does not replace the Parents Respect in Sport)
Remember that one team official is also required to have completed the Hockey Canada Safety Program
