Claresholm KRAFT HOCKEYVILLE
Many of our teams travel to Claresholm to play league and tournament games throughout our seasons. OMHA has also used the Claresholm Arena for home games due to our ongoing ice shortages. Claresholm has reached out to our Association to request our support in their Kraft Hockeyville bid (to be awarded an NHL preseason game and $250,000 towards arena upgrades). Their arena is in urgent need of repairs, and they have renovations (removal of ice floor, replacement, and new boards) scheduled to begin in March. One of their residents has started this initiative, and they’re asking us as a community to please follow this link, and post a story, a picture, or a video that reflects our interactions with the Claresholm Arena - big or small.
They have until February 11th to have the stories, notes, pictures and videos submitted in order to be in the running for this amazing opportunity! Share your story, ask your parents, ask your kids, and share it.
