Amendment to Bylaws - Proposed Changes

OMHA would like to give the membership notice that we will be proposing an amendment to our bylaws at our AGM on May 19. The proposed changes are outlined below.

Original Bylaw:
Section 13.0 Committees
13.1 Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association

b) The Association shall transfer the operation of the 'AA' and 'AAA' programs to the OOAA.

Proposed Changes:

b)The Association shall transfer the operation of the 'AA' and 'AAA' programs along with any other team(s) to the OOAA on the basis that both the OOAA and OMHA mutually agree and approve.

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
