NEW CAHL WEBSITE for 2014-2015
CAHL will now be operating under www.cahlhockey.ca
New for the 2014-2015 season CAHL will be using GoalLine system instead of Pointstreak.

Female Development Camp - Aug. 8th to 10th, 2014
This camp promises to be a motivating and inspiring training environment for girls who love the sport of hockey. On ice facilitators will be lead by Meaghan Mikkelson (2 time Olympic Gold Medalist for Team Canada), Bobbi Jo Slussar (Team Canada Member from 2008-2013 and 2 time NCAA Div 1 National Champion) and Scott Reid (Professional Goaltender for 12 years and Goaltending coach for Team Japan Women's hockey in Sochi). Power skating instructors include Brittany Schussler (2014 Olympic speed skater and national speed skating member since 2002) and Justin Warsylewicz (2006 Olympic Silver Medalist).
Off ice facilitators will include Chalk Talk with Mandi Duhamel (Female Hockey Development Canada) and Tara Hammer (Asst. Coach U of C Dinos), Peak Performance session with Danielle Goyette (Head Coach U of C Dinos), Sports Psychologist Sommer Christie, Sports Nutrionalist, Kimberley Tulloch, and dryland training courtesy of personal trainers from Natural High Fitness in Okotoks.

NEW for the 2014/15 Season
Peewee Rec has been added to the Midget Rec option:
This is a non-contact league that has less commitment than normal Minor Hockey. It is based on fun, development and exercise. Towns include Cochrane, Priddis, Black Diamond, Millarville, Bragg Creek, Canmore and Airdrie. There are no evaluations. Teams will get a few warm-up skates, then settle in to one constant practice a week and one game every Saturday. There will be 8 home and 8 away games, and a year end tournament.
