PEYTON KREBS was selected 1st overall by the Kootenay Ice in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. Peyton is an OMHA Alumnus and member of the 2015-2016 Rocky Mountain Raiders Bantam AAA team. Congratulations Peyton!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING OMHA, OOAA and Rocky Mountain Raiders players who represented Big Country in the 2016 Alberta Winter Games in Medicine Hat from February 13th to 16th, 2016:

JACE WHALEY, CONNER POFFENROTH and KAI UCHASZ, who brought home a silver medal.

REID BAHR, EMMA O'REILLY, KASSY BETINOL, RACHEL WEISS, TEGHAN INGLIS, SYDNEY TROTTER, RORY SEYMOUR, TEVIS SCHAUFERT, MADELYN SCHULZE, KAIA BORBANDY, BREE KENNEDY, JESSICA MARTENS, JENICA WILKIE AND SARAH WOZNIEWICZ, who finished 5th in their division.

We would also like to congratulate JAMIE STEER, OMHA Director of Hockey Operations, for coaching a zone 3 team from Calgary to a bronze medal.

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
