Okotoks Minor Hockey and Skillz SSC are pleased to introduce the Kidz First Grassroots Hockey Development Program for the upcoming 2014/15 season.

Providing coaches the tools to enhance development has long been a primary goal of OMHA, but doing so while trying to reduce the financial impact placed on athletes and their families has been a difficult task.

Working in partnership with Skillz SSC and our generous community partners, we have developed a program aimred to provide a comprehensive development model for associations, while placing no additional financial burden on families.

Coaches interested in coaching Timbits, Novice or Atom for the 2014/15 season are asked to review the presentation as part of their coaching criteria this season. Additional program information will be made available through your association in the coming weeks.

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
