CASINO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

OMHA has been provided with the opportunity to host a casino on Monday and Tuesday September 22 & 23rd at Ace Casino Blackfoot (4040 Blackfoot Trail SE, Calgary). This is a very important fundraiser for OMHA as it will allow us to raise much needed funds for equipment purchases and development for the players. This casino can not run without the support of the membership.

We are in need of 36 volunteers to work the following shifts:

Monday, September 22

11AM - 7:30PM - 1 general Manager (GM), 1 Banker, 2 x Cashier, 2 x Chiprunner

7:00pm - 3:30am - 1 GM, 1 Banker, 2x Cashier, 2x Chiprunner

11:00pm - 3:30am - 6 countroom volunteers

Tuesday September 23

11AM - 7:30PM - 1 general Manager (GM), 1 Banker, 2 x Cashier, 2 x Chiprunner

7:00pm - 3:30am - 1 GM, 1 Banker, 2x Cashier, 2x Chiprunner

11:00pm - 3:30am - 6 countroom volunteers

No previous casino experience is necessary as you will be trained for the position. More information on the various roles can be found in the attached form

The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) administers a minor hockey program for residents in Foothills County, including the Town of Okotoks. The current OMHA hockey program exists for players ages 5 years through 18 years, and consists of High Performance Level (AAA, AA), Community Level (A,B and C)

OMHA has a working partnership with 3 organizations to administer the AAA and AA levels of hockey - the OOAA (Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association), FMHA (Foothills Bisons Hockey Association) and the Foothills AAA Hockey Association.
